Re: PvP in the keep
Good point, but you also have to remember da noobs, if this happened, I would just my monk mage with 120 spot, and kill any PPers that have pped me once on sight, over and over and over and over and over... (you get the point) but, for people who are just starting out, even losing say, a +10 weapon ...

Re: Stacking soak and reduction
I dunno know about you, but 50% (unless it's slashing) is pretty hard even for me, or say trying to get 25% on everything is still even hard, so cappen it off doesn't leave "normal" and it is easy to fit it in RP wise, the magical properties just don't seem to allow it to go beyond a certa...

Re: Stacking soak and reduction
Rakshasa form > Don 8) Yea, true, you did beat me, thought I took out a bit of yer hit points, and Veno>Rakshasa form / any other shifter form. And once more, like everyone else has said, it aint bickering, we just like to see some good balanced PvP because thats what we enjoy, I rarely fight melee...

Re: What do you guys think of this?
I dunno if I would like this too much... just see this as a too fast of dying... becoming more of luck rather then who has better gear / build... and would make the higher ac builds WAY more effective, and you wouldn't want this for the same reason you wouldn't want DEV crit... just causes too much ...

Re: Stacking soak and reduction
I'm all good for the 50% cap, but think 30% would serve the best and like Tropic stated, mages always pretty much win, I have yet to see a melee give Don a good fight (90 ac mage 4 teh win) and yes they do sell divine resist, but only 10, so if you crit, you still get 20 damage through... wooo. Wond...

Re: Stacking soak and reduction
My two sense, PvP aint that much out of control, the only thing thats getting out of hand is how crazy high slashing immunity can go, but then again, people with the 100% slashing immunity tend to have no other immunities, so yes they may beat the crap out of a swordsmen, but say, some one hit em wi...

Re: Stacking soak and reduction
The firing off comment was to the roll, sorry, using my own made up slang XD, so when I say fires off = the roll was successful / it worked.

Re: Stacking soak and reduction
max ab is accualy higher then 80, you gotta remember taunt, one of my builds, if taunt fires off (pretty good chance it will) 82 ab, but also, the builds with "100 ac" tend to use improved expertise, and low ab... so like highest I can think of with that much ac is 52 ab, most fighters wit...

Re: Stacking soak and reduction
I can see the balancing / putting a cap on immunities, (so leave the blackstone hoody but say put a max on so you can only get 40 - 50% max on anything) but the ac is just fine, most builds that tend to have "god like" ac, have crap for ab, and so you get fights that never end, unless the ...

Re: Stacking soak and reduction
Ehhhh, I like Gabes idea of removing the BSK hoody, and really, the swords is commonly use *is guessing this because it is why he uses it* Because it's just so sexy! But I think it was a DM who said they had done the same thing with hoods, and people figured out how to get 100% immunities, can't rem...

What we should see from DM's
Alright, in this post, I am not going to name any names, and do not wish to get anyone in trouble, I just want to see what we should expect from our DM's, and so now I will explain as to what happened. We have 4 people in this story, DM, Guild member A, Guild Member B, and Guild Member C. So, Guild ...
