odd, because I logged on a very old character I did not pick a subrace on, and I appeared ont he boat, and got all the options again to select. maybe it was a glitch

Net framework apparently wasn't the issue. I did some research on my card, and nwn2, several different notations on it, and each are different, on saying whether or not its supported hehe. No biggie really, I will eventually get a new computer or a new card. NWN2 isn't a priority at the moment, but ...

Interesting, this patch did help some. The game stil is hideously laggy for me, but atleast my character doesnt teleport to the location clicked. Its still not 'playable' for me yet, and the patch did nothing to help the issue witht he toolset crashing before it even loads New vid card is still out ...

I think if yuo forgot your race, occasionally you will just be dropped back on the boat. and if you havent picked one you can then ( I think )

Ask around to several people IG = (in game) for prices on forgies. then compare notes. there will be some honest people.
A Black forgestone is worth over 200k any socket gem of any type is worth about 5k at the very most.
