i have both a mage and cleric with GS also never had a problem with it

most melee pvp builds don't buff anyway the side arm of a lvl1 pally fighter witch i've never seen isn't going to beat down anyone but cleric a 'stupid mage' (everyone should know what a smart one gana do) maybe some druid rangers but there buffs don't make huge difference anyway

Nah most of us oldie BSK PvP'ers like to think out side the box we're not all gana go get holy avenger because that guy just won one. If you hate it so make a character that doesn't buff at all.
