Which would mean they have +0 Armor, Deflection and Natural bonus before casting EMA.
Just change where their AC comes from (so not all dodge bonus) and EMA won't boost it so much, as it adds +5 to those three types plus dodge (which always stacks).

Agreed, four types of areas for a balance of accessibility and challenge:
1: 'Essential' main quest chain (solo)
2: 'Non-essential' quests (party)
3: Leveling (solo)
4: Grinding (party)
I think this is how it's largely set up anyways, just a few outliers here and there.

But how much better than Fighter Weapon Spec, Rogue/BG/Assassin Sneak Attack, WM Crits, RDD Strength, etc? Ranger's failing isn't in their attack and damage output, it's in defense and utility. They don't get all those bonus feats like fighters, their secondary stat isn't rewarded like Paladins, the...

In addition to the combat log line have it pop up on screen the same way you see Cleave, Attack of Opportunity, Found Loot, etc

And maybe pick a different color in the combat log too, maybe bright green or blue?

Perhaps just alter them to just wizard stuff or just cleric stuff. Having them get the best of both is a bit jarring.

Edit: Or just get rid of that spell mantle actually, they can have all the epic spells they like if we can land a spell or two of our own on them.

I'm not sure where that Bludgeoning vulnerability is supposed to be coming from, it's not an Undead type or a Mummy thing.

Perhaps have Fireball arrow deal 2d4 per AA level, Feeker arrow automatically hit with a crit threat and Hail of Arrows act like an Isaac's swarm or apply a debuff to all those it hits?

Yeah that sounds good, if people are happy with INT being the only stat, either cap item + bard song bonus at +12 or just remove bonuses altogether and lower the threshold to 68.

That’s true, epic summons are much more viable now, perhaps other summon spells and features need a similar treatment. My heart loves the SA idea, but my head says no. Ranger isnt really lacking for damage output (except when attacking non favored enemies, they’re boned in that case), but it definit...

AI is still dumb as a brick though, not sure if that can be fixed.
It seems to be just him, ignoring commands more often than other summons. Or maybe thats just my luck.

Except you don't. You max out at 74 in one craft and 64 in the other, +1 if you take 9 levels in RDD. Not going to cut it without those + Craft items Driller has raised the idea of removing. Even wizards come up short with only +2 above that. Edit: And for the record, I'm not saying 'fix' or 'broken...
