Is there a way to erase unused characters ?

I have about 9 test char and 1 that I really use...

I was playing with one of my friends yesterday and the server crashed, when it came back on, my friend couldn't log in anymore cause it said that his char was equipped with an item restricted on this server... But he didn't have any item that he didn't get from the server... Anyway now he can't log ...

I don't know if it's a bug only for BSK, never really tried in the campain, but when I transition from an area to another, my animal companion seems to get lost in "limbo"... It doesn't transition with me, and it's not in the first area either... but it stays in my team with the transition...
