I've also had some problems with the door between Felfar's room and the Waygate. It's there, but it doesn't always. open. Or, if it's open, you can't go through. Problems on both sides.

You just have to keep grinding. It's the same for wizard golems. It can be brutal, but all the parts will eventually drop. I've built three so far, and I've almost got enough spare parts for two more.

Just have to keep after it. It's worth it.

What does the Monk level bring to the table?

Any chance that a Hunt would appear in the list of Open Quests? There's no record of it once you log off. That conversation is gone.
