No not the loot drop chests.
This particular one is in the first shrine dungeon and itslike a normal nwn chest. I had an idea though that perhaps it works in the same fashion as the shrine entrance.
Any clues appreciated

Hi all, Ive been playing here about a week now and am finding this server awesome! I tried to do the first shrine quest but was unable to get into a chest.
