The strength value of the mummy is still the same as before. However, the mummy previously was receiving ridiculous damage numbers at later levels, probably because the dices were meant to replace each other rather than stack. I had a level 30 something mummy that was dealing 8d6 + 6d12 extra damage...

I'm guessing a change was implemented to fix the rather silly ability for non-spellcasters to summon the Epic Mummy via the Sequencer Robe, and that it might just need tweaking.

Until then, surely everyone can survive without the mummy for one/two resets?

You're spamming HIPS, he's spamming TS, what is the problem? In the previously mentioned incident , there weren’t any HIPS spammers involved. But even if there were, there are ways to indirectly deal with players in stealth mode and kill them as a spellcaster ... unlike fighting a player solely dev...

Something to keep in mind with the level 40 mummy compared to the lower level ones is that, whilst it might have lower damage on its’ weapon, it has a lot more Strength and +20 AB. So it certainly is still lethal. That said, it has one less APR than the lower level versions, and can still deal lower...

Yeah, it seems like the 35% extra damage, whilst it is magical, is still dependent on the combined total damage dealt before that. So against say a 50% physical immune boss, a Dev Crit will most likely deal about half of what it normally would in magic damage . Still, pretty impressive damage figure...
