Here are a few of the more common acronyms and their corresponding meanings:
- AA = Arcane Archer
- AB/BAB = Attack Bonus/Base Attack Bonus
- AC = Armor Class
- AoE = Area of Effect
- CEP = Community Expansion Pack
- CoT = Champion of Torm
- DC = Difficulty Class (sometimes used for Devastating Critical)
- DR = Damage Reduction or Damage Resistance
- DM = Dungeon Master
- HD = Hit Die or Hit Dice
- IIRC = If I Recall Correctly
- IGMS = Isaac's Greater Missile Storm
- OC = Original Campaign or Official Campaign
- PC/NPC = Player Character/Non Player Character
- PRC = Player's Resource Consortium
- PvP/PvM = Player vs Player/Player vs Monster
- PW = Persistent World
- RP = Roleplay
- SoU = Shadows of Undrentide
- SR = Spell Resistance
- TWF/ITWF = Two Weapon Fighting/ Improved TWF
- HoU = Hordes of the Underdark
- RDD = Red Dragon Disciple
