Alignment Change -- Lose Deity?

I found this super awesome belt that I wanted to use, but I needed to be Good Alignment. I was True Neutral. I made myself Good via the beggar, but lost Lia as my deity, which I didn't expect since I was Neutral Good, but.. alas.

When I changed myself back to true neutral, I am not a follower of Lia anymore.. is there a way to get that back? I went to the temple in the Oasis, but I was just told I was not a follower.

Anyone experience anything like this?

Try the temple at BoarderMarch then see if that one allows you to change back
