It's just a 3x3 grid. Just move to the very southeasterly corner of the southeast area and you've got it made. It's not really that big of a deal. Of course, I also played the original Bard's Tale so am quite used to navigating maps. Sometimes being old-school has its advantages.

The *real* problem (as I see it) has less to do with the rarity of forge stones, but more to do with the proliferation of them. When RP comes down to people showing off their uber skills and their mightily overforged items, there's something lacking in the overall quality of the environment. If they...

I like the roll of the die idea, highest chooses first then on and on. Although I also think that someone should have the option to forfeit all of their choices in order to grab one specific item. That would allow someone to get an item to save for later while still being somewhat penalized at getti...

Lorgath awoke with a splitting headache. He gingerly looked to his left and his right, and as he did so, black spots formed in his eyes. It appeared that he was in some sort of room. Probably an inn of some sort. He noticed that he was lying on an old wooden floor. A bed was a few feet from him, and...

Well, it'd be sort of a mixed menu type thing. I can see me selling homemade burritos for breakfast every morning. I mean I obviously can't sit there all day and sell food, much less make it all myself. So I'll be hiring latin gnomes to do the cooking for me. But yeah....burritos. And what sort of ...

As long as I can go for the dollar menu at Taco Bell, I'll be fine. You gonna sell bean burritos in your shack, Thanny? That'd be a selling point for me.

Up that Lock skill and lock yourself in so only the best lockpickers can join you in your home in SB when you're plotting and leave things in one of the chests inside. They'll be safe until the next reset at least. Muwhahahaha!

1) Money: Will cost a few million 2) Time: Will need to convince driller to make it for you, or for you to build it and him to inspect and install it 3) Quality: Need to justify your reason for this shack It's why some PWs have persistent housing as an alternative. I've never had one though. Tried t...
