Okay...bought the EE version, downloaded, patched and updated. Why can I not start the game?

Ahhh...there is the info I needed. Many thanking ewes, Driller. Wife and I are contemplating jumping back in.

I was mainly clarifying what version of the game I needed to get back in, and whether the character vault is kaput. More BSK requirements than game requirements.

Okay, so...what are the hoops to jump through to get back up and going? Enhanced Edition? CEP? Other add ons? Also...if I recall...all our chars are now gone?

Yeah...was just pulling yer leg. Looking forward to the new areas, and new quests are always welcome! Might bring Stihl'th back to be a retired adventurer turned bartender and see if The Den can be a place for some great RP and storytelling. Try to keep the old characters and stories alive.

Hmmm....Manx is still a Council Member. Might have to bring her out of mothballs and see what is what. I do so miss the old days of BSK. We had some amazing storylines going.

Help with the basics?? Sheesh, I haven't been gone that long, Warlock! LOL. Yeah...I think I'll have to reinstall again. Would be cool to play again, especially if there is some RP going on again. That was the whole reason I built the Den.

Oooo...a new forgie for my collection! Still have to reinstall after resetting my system. Great to see renewed interest in the Keep!

Even after the reset, still says Found Loot...but spits out no loot...lol. No chest, no bag, no nuffin'.

Confirmed. No loot for us either. Says we did, but no chest.

Nevermind. Seems a critical rebuild did the trick. Now to see if we both get in.

So...Jaydaan's computer can log into NWN, can find the server, can connect to it, all chars come up, but once you pick a char and try to enter the game, it crashes back to desktop. I know this is an easy fix, but I can't remember how!!! Ugh.

Any help?
